Memora
01 - PROJECT BRIEF
Memora is an interaction design case study that focuses on the design of the features and interactivity of the mobile application platform, which is designed for young people to deal with ‘data death’. In this system, users are allowed to choose their way of handling ‘data burial’ for themselves or for authorized users.
The app addresses the needs of today's young people as they age.

02 - OVERVIEW
Problem
In the future, people will live in a digital cage, buried under the abundance of data. As time goes on, information regarding individuals' 'digital presence' and 'online footprints' will increase. Privacy exposure will become a central issue. Many young people will spend their future lives in a virtual digital world, leading to the retention of a vast amount of life traces and personal information online. This raises concerns about whether this information will be preserved indefinitely after death.
Solutions
People use multiple social media platforms, which makes managing and consolidating all these data complex. To address this, I have designed an integrated app that allows users to link multiple accounts for themselves or authorized users, enabling them to manage their cloud data within a specific time frame. The app includes features that allow users to mark partial or complete data sets as 'dead' and conduct virtual memorial services for selected data marked for cloud death, providing a way to honor and remember.
